About us

The Macclesfield Muslim Community Centre: a masjid and registered charity at the heart of Macclesfield.

The Macclesfield Muslim Community Centre (MMCC) is a masjid and community centre at the heart of Macclesfield. Established in 2019, we serve the Muslim community of the town and the surrounding area, and we aim to be a good neighbour to everyone around us.

Our purpose is to advance the Islamic faith for the benefit of the public: through daily congregational prayer, religious education, lectures, and the celebration of the Islamic festivals.

What we do

The masjid is open for all five daily prayers and for Jummah every Friday. We run Qur’an and Islamic studies for children and young people, hold regular talks, and gather to mark Eid and the special nights of the year. We also support new Muslims, and help families with nikah and funeral arrangements.

Everyone is welcome

Whether you pray with us every day or are simply curious, you are welcome here. We serve people of all ages, including children, elders, and people with disabilities, and we are always glad to show visitors around. To arrange a visit or a school group, please get in touch.
